Walter Pinches Memorial EMS Leadership Award

Walter was known as an innovator, not only of ambulances, but of good common and uncommon sense policy and procedures. He got this way by enrolling in a variety of courses 'off the beaten path' in order to bring fresh ideas and perspective to TVAC.

The idea of the award is to honor someone who, not only has proven to have a spark of talent for leadership, but one who will seek out and impart fresh ways of thinking to the squad. That is why the award is a scholarship, not a present.
